Sermorelin is the first 29 amino acids of human growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH 1-29). This fragment keeps the full activity of the parent hormone at the GHRH receptor.
It has been studied in animal models and in-vitro pituitary cell studies of growth hormone secretion. It is used in research on the GHRH receptor and feedback control of the growth hormone axis.
